December 1998 Coffee

The first Isabella get-together was a ladies coffee at Paulin Wikman's house
on December 15, 1998.
Not many houses were being built at that time, but seven ladies were present, representing most of the houses built or under construction.
Summer 1999 Party
The second get-together was a dessert party at the Ford's house on July 29th.
By July, over 25 people were moved in or building and showed up to meet other residents.

January 2000 Ladies Luncheon
Fifteen ladies -- representing almost all of the completed houses in Isabella at this time -- attended the January 2000 Ladies Luncheon.
March 2000 Couples Dinner
Couples dinner at the Brick House Grill in downtown Hot Springs.

September 2000 Garage Sale

Isabella residents had a neighborhood garage sale -- perfect for getting
rid of all the old stuff that we just paid to have moved up here!

The January 2001 Ladies Luncheon was hosted by Judy Welp at her house.
January 2001 Superbowl Party
March 2001 Couples Dinner
A large group attended the March couples dinner at the DeSoto Club's Restaurant for the seafood buffet. Great food and company.

Dora Lang and Helen Sarsfield hosted the May Ladies Luncheon.
June 2001 Picnic

Linda Carter headed up arrangements for the 2001 picnic, which was very
well attended. The picnic was moved at the last minute from the
neighborhood to the Balboa Pavillion when the threat of rain arose (but
it never rained).
July 2001 Luncheon

Barbara Wayne hosted the July luncheon. Fifteen ladies attended.
Pam Way presented a jewelry show from Premier Designs.

Fall 2004 Neighborhood Dinner and 2005 Christmas Party

Kay and I were gone the last half of 2004 taking care of a sick
relative, so we missed these events, but heard they were fun.
January 2005 Luncheon

The Isabella ladies had lunch at the new Embassy Suites hotel next to
the expanded convention center in Hot Springs. While there, they took in
the Elvis photo exhibit at the convention center.
April 2005 Luncheon

Lunch was at the Marlsgate plantation and included a tour of the plantation. Click here for pictures.
April 2005 Sand Party

Isabella residents helped out the golf course with a Sand Party to fill in divots on the fairways. Afterwards, course management provided food and drinks. Click here for pictures.
October 2005 Golf Scramble

Another big turnout was see for the annual golf scramble. This year, weather was perfect. Unusual features were a requirement to tee off with a tennis racquet on one of the par 3's, and to put with a hockey stick on 18. Click here for pictures.

October 2005 Halloween Doggie Parade

Isabella dogs dressed up and brought their owners to the 2nd annual Halloween Doggie Parade. In additional to more traditional ribbons, prizes were given for "Looks Most Like Owner" and "Can't Hold Its Licker". Click here for pictures.

2006 Golf Scramble

Another record turnout for the 2006 Isabella Golf Scramble. This year, the early finishers on the club house patio got to watch the finishers who were required to try to kick the ball into the hole instead of using a putter. Click here for pictures.

Residents took part in the overall HSV cleanup by picking up trash on the streets of Isabella.

The luncheon at Ouachita State Park was preceded by a narrated tour of Lake Ouachita on the Park's party barge.

Isabella ladies got together in the party rooms above Molly O'Briens (pizza) restaurant at the Balboa gate. The ladies played board games before having lunch brought up to them.
